There are hat patterns in the book as well as photographic solution recipes and notes on his first wife (and child's) death and poetry, oddly enough. He was quite an artistic fellow. My grandfather is Dewey McKerracher (born in Arnprior, son of Jessie & JH Mckerracher who ran the blacksmith /hardware store. Dewey was the town's dentist, an excellent curler and golfer and a fine man who lived till 1987.) He had 2 children with his wife Ethel - my mother and my uncle. Thank you for keeping these stories and threads going.
