John was son of the Thomas Deachman (1795-1882) who came to Lanark from Lanark, Scotland in 1821 ans started all this mess. I would love to see these things. Catherine Stewart (b. 1822) was John's sister (although, fyi, there were at least three occasions of a Deachman marrying a Stewart). The Bill Deachman mentioned could be John's brother William (b. 1825) or John's son William "Pudd" (1863-1912). Isaac is likely John's son by his second marriage. Isaac was born in 1877.
There was a Thomas Wilson Deachman, born to John's youngest brother, Robert (1837-1912) and Jane Wilson. Thomas Wilson Deachman (1866-1939) was a doctor in Chicago.
Florence Deachman, meanwhile, was the second child born to John Deachman's son John (1865-1942) and Nellie Woods. Florence married a Jack Harper.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03905037859422486593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5715327810228462686.post-71184118075311550892016-03-31T13:52:26.661-07:002016-03-31T13:52:26.661-07:00I don't believe there are any pictures from Pe...I don't believe there are any pictures from Perth or Lanark Twp. Most of the exterior shots seem to be from Florence Deachman's home in Saskatchewan. Very much prairie scenes.I suspect that the album belonged to a child of Florence Deachman Harper, daughter of John and Nellie Deachman. She lived in Saskatchewan with her husband John (Jack) Harper. I don't know why this album would end up in an antique shop in Victoria. Isaac Deachman homesteaded in Saskatchewan (which is probably the cabin photo). He returned to Ontario, according to the obit. Or Perth Ontario? Jane Deachman, daughter of Eliza Deachman (Poppa) was the second wife of my great, great grandfather Thomas James. So not a direct relative. But it would be great to see what the area looked like in the early days as Jane and Thomas also had a farm in the area.

I can also put a note on my ancestry profile to this website. That way if someone connects to my tree they will get the info.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07098135922432284513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5715327810228462686.post-58046792586964274152016-03-21T17:34:43.616-07:002016-03-21T17:34:43.616-07:00Yes, they do!
